New Nerves?

As of this afternoon, I have had the strangest sensation in my right thigh (where the doctors had operated on). The muscle there keeps "jumping" and "twitching" on its own. It feels really weird, and sometimes it just makes me cringe. My dad says it is probably because new (and therefore extremely sensitive) nerve fibres are growing and they are causing my thigh muscle to contract at the slightest stimuli. I'll need to verify this with the nurses tomorrow. But right now, all I can say is...that the sensation is very freaky. :P
