Back from China

I'm finally back from 中国. I haven't been there in over a decade, and how it has changed! On the whole, I'm very impressed by the sights that I see. Beijing is the midst of constructing many new buildings and complexes, one of the reasons being in preparation for the 2008 Beijing Olympics. This time in Beijing, I visited the Beijing Planning Exhibition Hall (北京规划展览馆), the National Grand Theatre (国家大剧院) and the Great Hall of the People (人民大会堂), among many other places.

I would have loved to stay on and experience more of the Middle Kingdom, but I am also very glad to be home at last! ;)
