It may grow OUT

The nurse told me a frightening piece of news today. She said that my flesh in my thigh cavity was growing nicely, but it might just grow OUT of the wound, before new skin is able to grow over the hole and seal it up. *Gulp* But I'm not to worry, she said, it only might happen. I'll find out the answer for myself on Monday when I go back to the polyclinic and get a fresh set of dressing for my leg.
