Graph of NBRR Results (Men's Open)
Went to do some graph plotting...based on the results of 3,225 participants in the Men's Open for the New Balance Real Run 2006 (excluding those who did not get a final race timing, due to disqualification or failure to detect the champion chip). Beautiful sigmoidal curve, as one would expect, with the median runner clocking just over an hour. Given my timing, I just about made it to the upper quartile.

how to read huh ?
draw a horizontal line (corresponding to ur timing) across the chart. take note of where the horizontal line intersects the dark blue (final race timing) line. Check which percentile that point of intersection corresponds to.
