Run through the air...
Hmmm...saw another Pose method video here. Dr Romanov's main point is to pull the lagging foot upwards vertically towards the hip during running, rather than having the feet go through a large oval range of motion. In other words, instead of keeping the rear leg on the ground for support while swinging the leading foot in front - the usual way of lengthening a stride - he advises to try pulling the rear leg quickly upwards under the hip. By pulling up the rear leg before the leading leg lands, the runner would be able to cover more ground "in the air". Hmmm... interesting...I'll probably try this out at Run for Hope tomorrow.
